Swinging a lighter-than-normal club at maximum effort trains your body to move faster than it does with a standard club, raising your overall speed ceiling.
advanced~20 focused minutes, 2-3 times a weekOverspeed trainer or a lightweight clubStandard driver
How to perform it
1.Warm up properly with a few mobility movements before swinging at full effort.
2.Swing a lighter club or overspeed trainer at maximum effort for a set number of reps.
3.Alternate with your standard (or a slightly heavier) club to reinforce the new speed range.
4.Finish by hitting a few shots with your normal driver and notice the speed carrying over.
What you should learn
•What it feels like to swing faster than your current 'normal' top speed.
•How to hold that speed increase once you switch back to a standard club.
After a few weeks of practice
Your measured clubhead speed climbs over the following weeks, translating into extra carry distance off the tee.
